Day 1

Depart Nairobi in the morning passing through populated areas with good infrastructure then into farmlands which give in to the first aerial views of the wonderful Rift Valley. Views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha from a distance escort us to Lake Nakuru National Park. Re-known the world over for the presence of a high population of the beautiful flamingoes, this park accommodates also the rare white rhino. Other herbivores are also present. Overnight at your Lodge / Tented Camp.

Day 2

Breakfast. Drive southwards through the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara arriving Mid-afternoon. A late afternoon drive before retiring at your Lodge / Tented Camp.

Day 3

Breakfast. This day is spent on game drives the entire day with picnics for lunch. The natural beauty of the Mara is as appealing as the presence of the variety of both herbivores and big cats. Late afternoon, return to your Lodge/Tented Camp.

Day 4

After breakfast, drive straight to the Tanzanian border town of Isebania where you will go through normal immigration/customs procedures. Soon after, shift into a Tanzanian safari car and proceed down to the shores of Lake Victoria. If time is on our side, you may visit Bunda Market en route. Stay for the night at Serenity of the Lake Lodge with dinner in the evening.

Day 5

Breakfast. This morning, you will visit nearby Fishing Village and learn lots about traditional fishing methods, ways of selling fresh catch and general way of rural life. After taking lunch, you will drive to the nearby Serengeti for an afternoon game drive en route to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge / Tented Camp in the Serengeti.

Day 6

The seemingly endless plains punctuated by the huge rock outcrops, some wood lands and a huge amount of wilderness ambience is what awaits us this day. Game abounds here throughout the year. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge / Tented Camp.

Day 7

An early breakfast allows for a comfortable early drive to the Ngorongoro. You will be on the rim of the crater by 1030hrs. After a few moments of absorbing the magical views, descend to the floor of the crater for a full day of memorable game drives. Late afternoon, ascend out of the crater and proceed to your lodge located a short distance from the park gate. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 8

After breakfast, collect picnics and drive down to Lake Manyara National Park. A salty lake coloured by lots of birds, lions and the elegant giraffes. Late afternoon, exit this park and drive to the Tarangire for overnight in a Lodge / Tented Camp.

Day 9

Breakfast. A park famous for a huge concentration of the gigantic baobab trees + a big elephant population is where we shall spend the entire day. With picnics at midday, we are sure to stay for as long as we can, game-viewing. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge / Tented Camp.

Day 10

Breakfast. Soon after, drive straight to Namanga border town where after going through Immigration/customs procedures. A Kenyan safari car takes us to the Amboseli National Park for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge / Tented Camp.

Day 11

Breakfast. Enjoy the last moments in the bush – great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro as it sits majestically watching over you until early afternoon. Thereafter, a smooth drive back to Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel, or, at the JKI Airport…
